Missoula Children’s Theatre Brings “The Wizard of Oz” to Harwell Auditorium, November 18-23, 2024

This November, the Missoula Children’s Theatre (MCT) returns to our community with an exciting production of The Wizard of Oz. Due to ongoing renovations at The Ritz Theatre, this year’s event will be held at Harwell Auditorium, where local students will have the opportunity to take part in this magical production.

Auditions for The Wizard of Oz will take place on Monday, November 18th, from 4:00 to 8:30 p.m., and rehearsals will run from Tuesday to Friday at the same time. The performances, showcasing the talents of our young local actors, are scheduled for Saturday, November 23rd, at 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

Missoula Children’s Theatre is renowned for its dedication to fostering creativity and confidence in students across the nation. By bringing professional directors to guide the children, MCT offers participants a unique opportunity to develop their acting skills, teamwork, and self-discipline. The week-long process encourages students to work hard, think creatively, and explore their potential in a supportive, fun environment.
