A concert that features five multiple Dove Award winners, all stars at the pinnacle of gospel and Christian music, is certain to be a landmark experience is the rich history of The Ritz’ Marquee Gospel Series.

mark-lowry-gospel-3Conducting the evening is none other than the renowned Mark Lowry – singer, storyteller, author and songwriter whose lyrics to “Mary Did You Know?” resulted in one of the most beloved modern Christmas songs of this century that has been recorded by over 400 artists of every musical genre. Lowry collectively spent more than 20 years as the baritone singer for the Gaither Vocal Band, and continues often to play the sidesplitting comedic sidekick for Bill Gaither at live concert tours dates and on the Gaither Homecoming videos series, now more than 150 volumes strong. The inspired, never changing ingredient of Lowry’s performances is his gift of communicating profound truths through music and storytelling that keeps audiences of all ages on the edge of their seats.

Siblings Joyce, Judy and Jonathan Martin rose to national and international success showcasing their stunning and distinctive harmonies, often in unforgettable a cappella. The Martins are regulars on the Gaither Homecoming videos and their unmatched, perfect sibling harmony has been performed at the White House, Carnegie Hall and concert venues around the world.

Holding the evening together with musical accompaniment will be legendary pianist Stan Whitmire, whose 2009 Dove Award was for Instrumental Album of the Year. Stan too is a frequent collaborator on the Gaither Homecoming videos, often tours with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, and has had way too much fun touring with Mark Lowry in concert and on video shoots since 2003.
