The Willis Clan

A series of notable achievements over the last few years created the perfect storm that catapulted the trailblazing, Nashville-based family band known as The Willis Clan into the forefront of American entertainment. Fueling their rabid popularity is the unique mix of talents among the twelve Willis siblings, ranging in ages of 4 to 23, who have quickly matured into seasoned performers of country, bluegrass and Irish music and who can clearly hold their hold with the most seasoned musicians performing today.

After over 40 guest appearances on the Grand Ole Opry, the Willis Clan firmly established themselves as Opry fan favorites. This visible platform helped them win the national search by the NBC Network for the Next Sound of Music Family. Their performance of a bluegrass-infused “My Favorite Things” on the TODAY SHOW was acclaimed, followed by over 6.4 million views on YouTube. This landed them on America’s Got Talent where, as quarter finalists, their unique sound garnered a broader national exposure and caught the eye of executives at TLC Cable Network, who felt this wholesome all American family with inexhaustible talent and three album releases under their belt was perfect for a reality series. The series was fast-tracked, and last May TLC launched The Willis Clan. The show that captured behind the scenes in their chaotic life on tour while balancing a life at home was a hit – and renewed for a second season.

The Ritz is lucky to have a secured a booking of this amazing musical phenomenon in their national tour prior to cameras rolling once again for the second season of TLC’s The Willis Clan in spring 2016.
